Congratulations to Daniel Cox and Russell Thompson on their Promotions to Blue Belt. The belts are well-deserved!
Huey Contreras' NAAFS Fight - Feb 2009
Jesus "Huey" Contreras made a VERY IMPRESSIVE debut (on 3 days notice) in the NAAFS Organization with a 19 second KNOCKOUT over a very tough and aggressive fighter from Columbus MMA / Team Jorge Gurgel. Congrats to Huey and we know there's MUCH MORE to come from this 3-0 fighter. You can watch this fight ON TV on Fox Sports Ohio on March 15th, 2009.
More Medals (Ohio Grappling Challenge)
Daniel Cox established himself as a "man-child" in BJJ with his very impressive wins on his way to winning the Men's White Belt Division, even though he is only 17 years old. Russell Thompson also continued his winning ways by winning two gold medals in both the Gi and No Gi Divisions.

SVT brings 4 Medals home from Louisville
We sent four competitors to Soneca's latest tournament in Louisville. In spite of a rocky start, we got our rhythm together and ended up bringing home 3 Golds and a Bronze. Congrats A.J. Stephens, Casey Compston, Chris Lamarque, and Russell Thompson.

2009 Arnold's NAGA Championship
One of the biggest BJJ Tourneys around
SVT has, for the last two years, sent a team to this tournament. This is one of the biggest tournaments around. It is also the SMOOTHEST ran tournament that we have EVER attended.
